I'm absolutely thrilled that I won this award and I don't even remember entering the contest. It's nice to know that my peers see exceptional art in my photos.

There are few things that take my breath away and this waterfall did that to me. I stopped in my tracks and knew I had to get my camera and take as many photos of that waterfall as much as possible.
I got this shot.

Every time I end up in the Eastern Sierra's it shows me its true colors and I leave with an abundance of amazing photos. It's def. a place we need to cherish and respect. I understand why Ansel Adams spent so much time there and why John Muir wanted to preserve Yosemite and the surrounding areas. Magic, Absolute Magic.

Follow the Rainbow photo was taken in Jenner California during one of the most spectacular series of perfect barrels and waves I've ever seen. I stood on the beach for over an hour damning myself for not bringing my board to ride the perfect waves. Luckily I had my camera and the wind started to pick up and the mist formed gorgeous rainbows out of the waves.

This is one shot from that perfect day in Northern California.

I recently added one of my favorite photos on to my website. When I shot the photo it was in Bishop California at sunset and the sky turned red for about an hour, keeping all of us in AWW. It was one of those rare nights you wished for magic and actually received it.

Since adding it to the website it has been a sensational favorite among members and I wanted a chance to public-ally thank you. I hope you continue to enjoy it and the others on the site.
